Sanitation

sanitation

Cleanliness should always be a major concern. Rest assured- all our needles are single use, and all stainless steel equuipment is Autoclaved (high temperature, steam sterilization- like they use in hospitals) in house. We strive to provide you with the cleanest possible procedure including covering all contact surfaces with barrier film and wrapping our clipcords in plastic. We also have a member of our staff whose only job is cleaning- and he's amazing!

For a more thorough understanding of why this is important, we highly recommend you read "Prevention of Cross-Contamination in Tattooing" at Eikon Device's MACHINEGUN magazine. It is excellent information regarding sanitation issues and procedures, put out by some great professionals! Below is a diagram from the article, showing a typical, clean setup and the tattoo artist's station. Look for these precautions wherever you have your tattoo done.
